Yes Ive tried all positions of choke with no luck.
The only thing that works is heating the engine. And yes the blow dryer works great for this.
As far as the choke working correctly or not I don't know for sure but it seems to work at all other temps. It seems that even in the summer when the temps outside are 80 or 90 far I still need to use the choke to start if the bike has sit longer than 5 or 6 hours. The choke seems to work fine in any temps above 50 far.
